Women's logic

Seven years ago today, I met my husband at a St. Patrick's Day festival at The Garden in the Heights, Houston. This morning we had this conversation:

Me: Hey, do you realize we've been together exactly *pauses to wrinkle brow and whispers 7X2 is 14, 4+4 is 8, 1+1 is 2, 28* one fourth of my life?

Larry: Uh huh. Twenty five percent of your life and *without pausing to calculate* a little over fifteen percent of mine. *looks smug at swift answer*

Me: I guess you'll have to spend more time with me, then, if you want to catch up.

I'm so lucky he puts up with me. :D

Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody!

Lololololol!

Larry got a huge kick out of that, after he stopped groaning. :D

If you do know what I mean you have to say...

"Oh Archie!"

In that voice that Maureen Stapleton used when she would talk to Archie...he he he. Now that would be funny.

That is when you talk to yer dude that is. Iffin ya want.

I am going to sleep now. I am up too late here. *huggles*

*sings* Those were the days...

Hee hee. I should. Don't know if I could pull off the voice though.

Used to be, I could do a really good imitation of her. *gah* I can do Ethel Merman too.

Cha.

LOL!

When I was little my mom and I always "argued" (not really, just more of a teasing sort) who had more rights on my dad. Usually, it ended with me figuring out how many percents of her life my mom knew my dad - while I could always point out that I knew my dad 100% of my life. ;)

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too! :) *hugs*
