Still trying to fill out tax forms. Damnit. Apparently we owe a little over 600 dollars. I think I'm doing something wrong, because we don't make nearly enough money to have to pay taxes. Seriously, we don't. I'm not just whining. I think I need to dig around for some more receipts.

I ended up owing $113, but that's because the sodding government changed tax laws halfway through the year and lowered the minimum deduction level. Bastards.

Grrr. I know.

"If you use the accrual method, report income when you earn it and deduct expenses when you incur them even if you do not pay them during the tax year. Accrual-basis taxpayers are put on cash basis for deducting expenses owed to a related cash-basis taxpayer. Other rules determine the timing of deductions based on economic performance."

???? How the heck should I know whether or not another business uses the cash method? O.O I'm afraid to put this thing in the mail.
