Busy, busy, busy

It's almost the end of the month. When did that happen?

Yes, yes, I do have a calendar, but somehow it managed to sneak up on me anyway. All of a sudden I realize the Castle Renfair is next week and the kiddo's costume doesn't fit anymore. I need to make him a new one. I haven't finished his school plan for next month. I need to do a mountain of laundry. I need to carve designs on a tray of flutes drying in my living room. Arrrrghhhh!

It isn't all that bad, since (despite what I said last week) we won't leave this house permanently until July. I'd be in real trouble if I had to pack up our life before next weekend. But we just decided that our transmission is so icky that we can't take our camper to Oklahoma, and that means we have to commute back and forth. It also means that we'll be stuck here until July since it will inevitably take us that long to get a new vehichle and make it roadworthy. Ah well. Life's like that sometimes. At least we'll be able to deduct a whole bunch of business miles. :D

Hopefully, I'll finish a good portion of this stuff before tonight. I'm in serious need of some downtime.
