So, where's my sparkly vampire?
I’m starting to scare myself. In the past two months I’ve been more disaster prone than a main character in a YA romance. So far I have…
1. dropped a Christmas tree on my foot
2. backed into little sports car with my van
3. forgotten to pay the car insurance bill, which I realized immediately after running into the little sports car with the really expensive doors
4. stuck my finger with a needle, bleeding all over the extremely cheap bags I tried to embroider at top speed in order to give meaningful Christmas presents (not being able to afford anything else due to #3)
5. ran out of gas twice, both times during rush hour on busy streets
6. dreamed that I decided to fix my toothache by pulling out my back tooth with my fingernails and carefully putting it on the bedside table, then woke up to find half of my tooth in a lovely little heap of enamel pieces by my alarm clock
7. let the kiddo use my computer, thus infecting it with something like 20 Trojan horses which are now in the virus vault (Despite AVG’s best efforts, it still shuts off randomly, that is when it isn‘t popping up with ads every time I click a link.)
8. put the box containing my priceless, practically irreplaceable carving tools on the top of my van for a moment, then forgot about them and drove off. They are now wooden shards in the gutters of San Felipe Dr.
9. said, “Ugh, I hate these glasses!“ when they kept slipping off my nose while I tried to carve ocarinas with my new inferior and extremely annoying carving tools. Predictably, that night my glasses dropped out of my purse onto the street, and I ran over them with my van the next morning.
What next? Geez, I'm almost afraid to leave the house.
