Hee. I know exactly how you feel! I still agonize over every single comment I leave for her (and I don't leave many; I don't have time to waste second-guessing my own dorkitude.) I didn't for the longest time realize that it was obligatory, or even good lj-etiquette, to drop someone a note asking permission to add them to one's friendslist - I inquired when I was new to LJ, and was told at that point it wasn't really necessary (but the world has perhaps gotten a bit fruitier since then.)
I would suggest: drop her a note telling her you love Swordspoint and "Bordertown". (You can go back and comment to her recent Bordertown post - your comment will be right next to mine *g*). It will make her day, and yours, too.
