Aieeee! And also, Merry Christmas

It's been a very frightening and busy week. My grandmother fell down and hit her head the other night, so there's been an emergency room visit and much family drama added to all the holiday rushing around trying to get things done this year. If I didn't have a sense of humor, I swear I'd be tearing my hair out right about now. You haven't really lived until you've taken a delusional eighty-six year old woman to the hospital against her will.
She's okay, though a little sore still, but the incident made everybody realize that she just can't live by herself any longer. In the long run, that either means she'll have to go to an assisted living facility, or Larry and Isaac and I will have to go live with her again. (More on that another time; I'm still in the whiny "but I don't want to!" stage, and it would be useless to try to write about it coherently.)
In the short run, her accident made her realize that she might not have have everybody over for Christmas again after this year, so she completely rebelled against the idea of having us go to my aunt's house for dinner. That means that I've been going over to Mema's house every day to do all the decorating, cleaning, and cooking. Her house is HUGE, but it's finally finished. I'll try to post some pictures soon. It all looks very lovely, if I do say so myself.
Now all I have left to do is some dollar store stocking stuffer shopping and holiday baking tomorrow, and then a party tomorrow night. And, oh yes, I'm almost done drawing a Holiday card for all of you wonderful people. If no other disaster happens, it should be finished tonight and scanned tomorrow night. *squishes friends list*
